Installing Yourself?
This Ford Superduty (99-16): Recon 3rd Brake Light Kit is factory unsealed. This allows you to easily colour match the inside bezel paint and then seal the lens using a permeatex silicone.
The reason these are offered unsealed in the chrome model is because the lens on the chrome units are clear. Using a smoked unit with a smoked lens would make painting the inner bezel pointless.
