Installation Instructions
Step 1 — Remove the Original Lens
Wear gloves and place the light bar face-up on a padded, clean surface. Complete this process indoors in an air-conditioned room to avoid dust and humidity. Using a T10 Torx bit, remove the eight screws securing the frame to the light bar — leave the frame in place as you work, removing only the screws. When all screws are out, unwrap your new replacement lens (wearing gloves) and inspect it for dust or particles. Set it on a clean surface. Slowly remove the frame from the light bar, keeping it in the same orientation, and set aside. Remove the original lens.
Step 2 — Swap the Gasket
Carefully remove the gasket from the inside groove of the original lens. Place the gasket onto the new lens — align the ends first, then work your way toward the middle (don't press from one side to the other). Push down gently to secure the gasket to the lens — it doesn't need to be pushed all the way in, just enough to stay in place. Inspect to make sure the gasket is uniformly installed.
Step 3 — Install the New Lens
Place the new lens with gasket back onto the light bar. If you drop the lens, re-inspect the gasket alignment. Place the frame back on the new lens in the same orientation it was originally installed. Check that the side-to-side gap is equal on both sides. Install the first screw, then one of the middle screws — do not tighten fully. Work diagonally (like tightening a wheel) to install the remaining screws with uniform pressure. Once all screws are in, tighten evenly. Do not overtighten — firm but not forced. The install is complete.
