Mounting Instructions
Step 1 — Install the Ditch Light Brackets
Open the hood and locate the rubber seal where the fender meets the windshield. Pop it out to access the factory bolt underneath. Remove the factory bolt with a 10mm wrench, slide it through the ditch light bracket followed by a washer, and thread it back in hand-tight with the bend facing toward the outside of the vehicle. Level the bracket forward at -3 degrees, then tighten to 80 in-lb (9 Nm). Repeat on the other side.
Step 2 — Assemble and Mount the LED Pods
Assemble your SSC2 or SS3 LED pods per the included assembly guide. Place the assembled pod on top of the ditch light bracket. Feed the carriage bolt through the universal bracket and ditch light bracket, add the washer, lock washer, and nut underneath, and tighten hand-tight to leave room for aiming adjustment.
Wiring Instructions
Step 3 — Connect Power and Ground
Using an 8mm socket, locate the body ground next to the airbox, loosen it, slide the black ground connector from the harness underneath, and tighten. Using a 13mm deep socket, loosen the power terminal, slide the red power wire underneath, and secure.
Step 4 — Route the Switch and DT Connectors
Route the switch portion of the harness through the firewall into the cab and mount it wherever you prefer. If you have an aftermarket switch bank, disconnect the included toggle and plug in the auxiliary adapters. Route one DT connector to the driver's side through the fender bracing, up under the rubber seal, and into the back of the pod. Route the other DT connector across the engine bay (away from hot or moving parts), through the passenger-side fender bracing, up under the rubber seal, and into the pod. Snap the rubber seals back into place on both sides.
Step 5 — Test and Aim
Test for proper operation using the toggle switch — both the backlight and main beam should illuminate. Secure any loose wiring with the included zip ties. Aim the pods by rotating left/right and tightening with a 13mm wrench, then tilting up/down and securing with a 5/32" Allen key. The install is complete.
