Installation Instructions
Step 1 — Disconnect the Factory LED Board
Remove the lens from the headlamp. Disconnect the factory LED board by pressing on the white clip and pulling it straight back. Set the back of the headlamp assembly aside.
Step 2 — Swap the LED Board
Remove the three screws holding the factory LED board in place. Remove the factory board and install the new Diode Dynamics LED board using the same alignment points. Replace the three original screws.
Step 3 — Route the Wires
Route the wires through the dust cap in the headlamp, sealing any holes you create. Replace the headlamp lens and repeat for the other headlamp.
Wiring Instructions
Step 4 — Connect the Driver
Connect the LED board to the driver, then connect the driver to the pigtail. Tap the pigtail wires to 12V power and ground — this dictates when the panels turn on. The black wire must be grounded before any function will work.
Important: Do NOT plug the LED panel directly into the pigtail without the driver. The LEDs must be connected to the driver first to control power.
Step 5 — Mount and Reinstall
Mount the driver outside the headlight for serviceability, in a location away from the engine block to avoid excessive heat buildup. Tuck all wires. Test thoroughly, reseal the headlight, and reinstall onto the vehicle. The install is complete.
