⚙️ Professional Installation Guide
Complete installation in under 10 minutes with zero vehicle modifications
Locate SGW Connectors
Under driver side kick panel, reach towards left side and look straight up to find the Security Gateway plugs.
Disconnect Factory Plugs
Press tabs on sides of both plugs and pull down by the wires to disconnect from factory gateway module.
Connect Tazer DT
Insert factory plugs into Tazer DT device. Plugs should seat securely with some clearance for easy removal.
Verify Operation
Start vehicle and confirm Tazer DT LED blinks, indicating proper power and communication with vehicle systems.
EVERY TIME you make Vehicle Settings changes or Unmarry, you MUST:
- Select "Full Reboot" from menu and wait for countdown completion
- Perform TWO complete sleep cycles
- Turn ignition off, open/close driver door, wait 60 seconds AFTER dash goes dark
- Turn ignition on (not engine) and repeat the sleep cycle once more
- Drive for 20 minutes (preferably highway) to recalibrate all sensors
Failure to follow this process may result in dead battery, non-functional settings, or dash that won't shut down!
