Mounting Instructions
Step 1 — Disassemble Headlight
Remove the lens and set the headlamp assembly aside. Remove the three screws holding the bezel to the lens, then remove the bezel. Bring the bezel to a soft, non-marring work surface. Using pliers, squeeze the clear clips and push downward to unclip the reflector lens from the bezel. Pull the reflector lens straight out and set it aside.
Step 2 — Install C-Light and Reassemble
Install the new C-Light LED board by running the wires through the hole where the factory bulb was and setting the LED board into place. Reinstall the reflector lens by aligning the clear clips and snapping them back into position — align all clips at once. Using a microfiber cloth, clean any fingerprints from the bezel, then clip it back into the headlight lens and reinstall the screws. Reinstall the lens on the headlamp assembly by routing the wires through the existing factory hole or grommet, snapping the clips into place, and reinstalling screws. Repeat for the other headlamp.
Wiring Instructions
Step 3 — Connect Switchback Driver and Test
Connect the board connector to the switchback driver output. Connect the switchback driver input to the pigtail. Tap the bare wires to the wiring harness per the included wiring diagram — the black wire must be grounded before any function will work. Important: Do NOT plug the LED panel directly into the pigtail without the driver — the LEDs must be connected through the driver first to control power. Mount the driver outside the headlight for serviceability, in a location away from the engine block to avoid excessive heat. Tuck all wires, test thoroughly, reseal the headlight, and reinstall onto the vehicle.
