Important: Headlights must be opened before proceeding. This involves heating and carefully separating the lens from the housing. Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Installation Instructions
Step 1 — Once the headlight is open, mount the LED halo or strip using beading wire or JB Weld. Mount it in a location away from any light source to avoid heat damage.
Step 2 — Route the wires through any shroud or bezel to the back of the headlight, sealing any holes you create during this process.
Step 3 — Connect the LED halo/strip connector to the driver, then connect the driver to the pigtail. Tap the bare wires on the pigtail to 12V power and ground — this determines when the halos/strips turn on.
IMPORTANT: Do not plug the LED panel directly into the pigtail without the driver. The LEDs must be connected to the driver first to regulate power.
Step 4 — Mount the driver outside of the headlight housing for serviceability, in a location away from the engine block to avoid excessive heat buildup. Tuck and secure all wiring.
Step 5 — Test the system thoroughly, reseal the headlight, and reinstall it on the vehicle. The install is complete.
