Looks amazing but one fitment issue

I like it, very stylish. Goes well with my Morimoto tail lights. It ties everything together. Only thing is there is such a big gap between the truck and the housing, about half an inch. There is a gasket that should stop the water but I was paranoid so I had put some sealant along the gap to keep the water out.
