H16 vs 5202
The name "H16" has been used for two completely different bulb types depending on the region. In Japan, H16 refers to an H11-style bulb with a standard H11 base running at lower power. In Europe, H16 refers to the newer tab-lock style 5202 bulb.
Simple rule: If your vehicle was manufactured by a Japanese company (Toyota, Nissan, Lexus, Subaru), use H11-size LED bulbs. If your vehicle was manufactured by an American company (Chevrolet, GMC, Ford), use 5202-size LED bulbs.
5202 (H16-EU) vs 2504 (PSX24W)
Both are tab-lock style bulbs, but they have different alignment tab positions on the base. If you need to cross-fit one into the other's socket, shaving down the alignment tab on the base makes them compatible with the factory connector.
