Tools Required
- Included T-tap wiring connectors
- Trim or panel removal tool (optional)
Time Required: Approximately 30–45 minutes.
Installation Instructions
Step 1 — Using the included T-taps, connect the pink connectors on the supplied wiring harness to a positive and negative signal wire that activates when the tail lights are on. Tapping into the license plate light wiring is recommended. Once connected, route one connector to each sidemarker location on both sides of the vehicle.
Step 2 — Reach behind the factory sidemarker and depress the tab on the side closest to the wheel well. Once the tab is released, slide the sidemarker toward the wheel well and pull it out of the body. The factory sidemarker will not be reused.
Step 3 — Plug the new LED sidemarker into the previously installed wiring harness connector.
Step 4 — Slide and clip the new LED sidemarker into place. Make sure all wiring is tucked safely away from any heat sources, including the exhaust.
