What Is Thermal Separation Technology?
Traditional LED chips have their electrical connections on the bottom, which limits the surface area available for heat dissipation. TST LEDs flip this by placing the electrical connections on top. That means the entire bottom surface of the LED chip is dedicated to channeling thermal energy away from the LED.
The result is lower thermal resistance, which allows the SL2 Pro to run at higher power levels than traditional LED bulbs while maintaining proper optical focus. More power with better heat management means higher sustained output over the life of the bulb.
