Stage Series Rock Lights add useful light underneath your vehicle with a compact design and multiple mounting options. This guide covers how to mount and wire the Stage Series 8-Pack Rock Light Kit on the 2022-2024 Toyota Tundra. Here's the full walkthrough.
Note: This product should not be used on a 24V system. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before starting your installation.

Installation Video
Tools Required
- Drill with 1/4" drill bit
- 5/32" Allen wrench
- 8mm wrench
- Ratchet with 10mm and 13mm sockets
- Plastic trim removal tool
- Steel fish tape
- Zip ties (included)
Mounting — Front
Identify the mounting location under the front bumper. You have three options:
- Magnet Mount (non-invasive): Use the included hardware and magnet mount to place the light below the front skid plate.
- Center Hole Mount (invasive): Drill a 1/4" hole in the center of the skid plate. Remove the two 13mm bolts from the front of the skid plate for easier access. Remove the outer lens and center rubber dust seal from the rock light. Mount using the included nut, bolt, and washers. Secure with a 5/32" Allen and 8mm wrench. Reassemble the rock light.
- Zip Tie Mount: Use zip ties through the integrated tabs on each side of the light to attach to any available point.
Mounting — Front Wheel Wells
Inside the front wheel wells, mount on the frame rail above the CV axle or below the lower control arm.
- Magnet Mount: Place on the side of the frame rail.
- Fender Liner Mount: Remove one 10mm bolt and five plastic clips from the fender liner. Drill a 1/4" hole in the carpet fender liner. Mount the rock light with included hardware and secure with a 5/32" Allen and 8mm wrench. Reassemble.
Mounting — Middle
Along the sides of the truck, use the magnet mount to place the light on the bottom of the cab between the frame rail and side steps, or on the bottom of the frame rail.
Mounting — Rear Wheel Wells
Inside the rear wheel wells, mount on the frame rail in front of the shock.
- Magnet Mount: Place directly on the frame rail.
- Fender Liner Mount: Remove two plastic clips from the top of the fender liner. Drill a 1/4" hole in the plastic fender liner between the two clip locations. Mount with included hardware and reassemble.
Mounting — Rear
At the rear of the truck, use the magnet mount to place the light underneath the rear hitch.
Wiring Instructions
Rear to Left Side: Connect a 3M M8 extension at the rear hitch rock light, routing it over the frame and up to the left rear wheel well. At the left wheel well, connect the M8 splitter to the extension and the wheel well rock light. Connect a 5M extension to the splitter, route it along the frame rail to the middle rock light, and connect another splitter.
Right Side: Connect a 5M extension to the right rear wheel well rock light, route it along the frame to the middle. Connect the splitter, then a 3M extension to the right front wheel well.
Engine Bay Routing: Route 5M and 3M extensions from the left middle and left front rock lights up into the engine bay using steel fish tape, keeping wires away from hot or moving parts. Route across the engine bay to the battery. From the right side, route the 3M extension from the right middle and the 1M extension from the right front wheel well up through the engine bay to the battery.
Final Connections: Connect the positive and negative leads from the harness to the battery. Connect the Bluetooth controller lead. Plug all M8 connectors from the rock light leads into the harness. Route the toggle switch through the firewall into the cab using a metal rod and install at your preferred location. Secure all loose wiring with zip ties. The install is complete.
