Installation Video
Tools Required
- 3/8" ratchet
- 10mm socket and wrench
- 13mm wrench
- 3/8" wrench
- 5/32" and 3/16" Allen keys
- T40 Torx driver
- Drill with 1/8" and stepping drill bits
- Flush-cut pliers
- Plastic trim removal tool
- Bubble level
Disassembly Instructions
Step 1 — Remove Driver Seat and Interior Trim
Undo both driver seat adjustment buckles using the red pull tabs. Pry up the cup holder with a plastic trim removal tool and disconnect the connector with blue tabs underneath. Feed the safety harness through the back of the seat, pull the release handle, and tilt the seat forward and out. Remove the four 10mm bolts along the bottom of the center console. Remove the two 10mm bolts and two clips from the driver-side kick panel. Lift the rubber shift cover and remove the T40 bolt underneath to remove the shifter trim.
Wiring and Switch Instructions
Step 2 — Connect Battery and Mount Switch
Using a 10mm socket, connect the red wire from the wiring harness to the positive battery terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal. Tuck the relay next to the battery. Route the white connector lead from the battery under the center console into the cup holder area, then down around the shifter toward the firewall — route around the shifting bracket, not through it. Continue to the hole at the back of the passenger-side kick panel. Pop out a factory switch blank with a pick tool. If using the included round toggle switch, trim the key slot with flush-cut pliers and drill a hole in the switch blank to approximately 20.5mm. Feed the white lead through the front, press the switch into place with double lines on top, and connect.
Step 3 — Route DT Leads to Rear Cage
From the battery, route the DT leads under the plastic coverings and up the driver-side B-pillar toward the roof. Once at the roof, route one lead straight back and the other across to the rear passenger side. Secure in place with zip ties.
Pod Mounting and Aiming
Step 4 — Mount SSC2 LED Pods
On the driver's side, slide the roll bar mount ring over the cage bar near where the cage and rear roof meet. Align the platform and fasten with the supplied 3/16" Allen bolt, washers, and nut. Secure the roll bar L bracket to the mount with the other supplied 3/16" Allen bolt and washer — use a bubble level to ensure it's level, then tighten with a 3/16" Allen and 10mm socket. Bolt the SSC2 universal bracket to the L bracket using the supplied carriage bolt, washer, lock washer, and nut (hand-tighten only). Bolt the SSC2 LED pod to the bracket with the supplied 5/32" Allen bolt and nut (hand-tighten). Repeat for the passenger side.
Step 5 — Connect and Aim
Plug the DT leads routed in Step 3 into the back of each SSC2 LED pod. Test function. Aim horizontally by rotating the pods left/right and tightening with a 13mm wrench. Aim vertically by tilting up/down and tightening with a 5/32" Allen key and 3/8" wrench.
Reassembly
Reassemble the RZR by reversing the disassembly steps. Zip-tie any loose wiring to keep it away from hot or moving parts.
