Installation Video
Tools Required
- 3/8" ratchet
- 7mm, 8mm, 10mm, and 13mm sockets
- 5/32" Allen wrench
- Trim removal tool
Mounting Instructions
Step 1 — Remove Factory Fog Light Assembly
Turn the steering wheel to the right to access the passenger side. Using an 8mm socket, loosen the two inner fasteners and remove the three outer fasteners holding the fender liner. Slide the inner fender up and to the left, then pull straight out. Unplug the upper connector from the factory fog light and use a trim removal tool to unclip the two tabs holding the factory harness — set the harness aside for later. Remove the three top 10mm bolts and two bottom bolts securing the factory assembly, then pull it back to remove.
Step 2 — Assemble and Mount SSC2 Pods
Using a 7mm socket, remove the four bolts holding the factory light to the housing and remove the factory light. Assemble two SSC2 LED pods onto the Diode Dynamics bracket marked "R" using the included hardware — hand-tighten only for now. Plug the included splitter harness into each SSC2 pod (shorter side goes to the outer pod). Using a 7mm socket, attach the assembled bracket to the factory housing using the top two factory bolts. Remount the assembled housing onto the bumper using the five 10mm bolts. Replace the two plastic clips. Repeat for the driver's side (turn steering wheel left to access).
Wiring Instructions
Step 3 — Connect Factory Harness and Backlights
Plug one of the included H11 adapter harnesses into the factory H11 connector, then connect the other end to the SSC2 DT splitter harness. For optional backlight function, use the included T-taps to tap into the parking light wires of the factory headlight:
- 12-pin connector: Passenger side — Pin 7 tan/orange wire. Driver side — Pin 7 white/brown wire.
- 16-pin connector: Passenger side — Pin 13 white/orange wire. Driver side — Pin 13 white/brown wire.
Test function — if the lights don't illuminate, unplug the H11 adapter and flip the connector 180°.

Step 4 — Aim and Final Tighten
Park on a level surface 25 feet from a wall. Loosen the 5/32" Allen bolts on each SSC2 pod just enough to allow adjustment. Measure the distance from the ground to the center of the pods (mounting height). Mark that height on the wall with tape, then add a second mark four inches below — this is your cutoff line. Aim each pod so the top of the beam pattern aligns with the cutoff line. Tighten the 5/32" Allen bolts (do not overtighten or use power tools). Using a 13mm socket, final tighten the four light mounting bolts/nuts on both sides. Reinstall the inner fenders using the 8mm and 10mm fasteners.
